Following the tragic terrorist attack at the Crocus City concert hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region, the Russia Ministry of Emergency Situations has deployed over 300 specialists and 154 pieces of equipment to the site. The ministry reported on Sunday that a significant amount of progress has been made, with more than 400 cubic meters of structures already dismantled by rescuers.
In addition to the physical efforts, specialized robotic systems, canine teams, and psychologists from the ministry are actively involved in the ongoing operations at the concert hall. The ministry's hotline has been inundated with over 1,600 calls, indicating a strong public response to the tragic event.
A video shared by the ministry depicted the dedicated emergency workers tirelessly sifting through the rubble of the partially burned down concert hall, highlighting the challenging conditions they are facing.
The attack on Friday resulted in the loss of at least 137 lives as attackers opened fire on civilians and set the building ablaze. The Islamic State group, also known as ISIS, has claimed responsibility for the attack and released disturbing footage purportedly showing the incident.
