Four people have been arrested for "driving while intoxicated" during a major bank holiday operation that saw over 300 Dublin motorists tested by gardai.
The arrests were made on Saturday night at checkpoints across the city.
Two people were arrested after testing positive for alcohol while another two tested positive for cocaine.

Gardai said: "Over 300 motorists were tested & 4 arrested for 'driving while intoxicated' on Saturday night during road traffic operations led by Dublin Roads Policing Units.

"The arrests were made during MIT checkpoints carried out across Dublin as part of May Bank Holiday road safety and enforcement activities.
"Two of those arrested were for alcohol and two for drugs (Cocaine). All four will now face court appearances in the coming weeks."
