Over 300 brand-new North Dublin apartments hit the market - but none are for sale

A massive North Dublin development with over 300 brand-new apartments has hit the market - but none of them are for sale.

Apartments in the new block are being advertised on Daft as "the ideal city home", but none of the swanky additions to the market are for sale.

American developer Greystar is taking direct charge of the complex dubbed Griffith Wood and is renting them all out at eye-watering prices.

The cheapest option with one bedroom and one bathroom is €1,900 per month.

A €2,250 monthly sum secures two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with the next step up coming in at €3,045.

This option offers more space, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms up for grabs.

Marino residents have slammed the new development on social media.

One local wrote: "Awful looking apartments take the look off Griffith Avenue."

Another said: "Griffith Avenue was always beautiful, these are an eyesore."

Greystar say the apartments are fully furnished with a range of dreamy amenities on "the Northern Hemisphere's longest tree-lined avenue", and they promise homes "where city living meets suburban tranquility".

This is their second big purchase in the Irish market having swiped up 208 high-end apartments at Dublin Landings for the cool sum of €175.5 million.

They advertise a community atmosphere for those lucky enough to live in the Griffith Avenue complex, and even promise social events to allow residents to make friends.

The advertisement said: "This is a community built around helping you enjoy a happy, healthy and productive lifestyle with concierge, gym and residents lounge."

A co-working space open 24-hours a day is also on offer.
