Over €30,000 worth of cocaine and rounds of ammo seized by gardai in Ballymun, Dublin raid

Over €30,000 worth of cocaine and 'a number of rounds' of ammunition were seized by gardai in an afternoon raid today.

The search came as part of an ongoing Garda operation targeting the drug market in Ballymun, north Dublin.

Gardai from the Ballymun Drugs Unit seized €32,000 worth of cocaine and "a number of rounds of ammunition" at a property at Shangan Green.

No arrests were made during the raid.

Gardai confirmed to Dublin Live: "As part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply on supply in the Ballymun area, a search of a residential property in Shangan Green was carried out by the Ballymun Drugs Unit today, Friday 24th April 2020.

"During the course of the search, cocaine (pending analysis) with a street value of €32,000, along with a number of rounds of ammunition were seized.

"No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."
