Over 200 newly infected in Tokyo on Wednesday; cumulative total exceeds 10,000

The number of people confirmed infected with the novel coronavirus in Tokyo was 238 on Wednesday, the second consecutive day the figure exceeded 200 and the 14th straight day the number was 100 or more.

The cumulative number of those who tested positive in Tokyo totaled 10,054, passing the 10,000 mark.
