Over €1.4million of drugs have been seized by Revenue Officers in Dublin.
The massive find of 71kgs of herbal cannabis was made on Friday as part of an intelligence led operation.
The drugs were discovered with the help of detector dog Robbie during the raid of a premises in Coolock.
The search was carried out as part of a joint operation involving the Revenue’s Custom Service and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, which is targeting the illegal activities of organised crime groups.
A spokesman said: "Last Friday (09/10/2020), as part of an intelligence led operation, Revenue officers seized almost 71kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of over €1.4 million.
"The illegal drugs were discovered with the assistance of detector dog Robbie following a search, under warrant, of a premises in the Coolock area of Dublin.
"The joint operation was conducted by Revenue’s Custom Service and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
"Investigations are ongoing.
"This operation was part of ongoing joint investigations targeting the illegal activities of organised crime groups.
