'Outstanding!' Liverpool and Swansea City fans rave about goalscorer Rhian Brewster as his pre-match social media premonition comes true

New Swansea City striker Rhian Brewster has scored his first goal for the club - and fans are already getting excited about him.

The Swans went behind to Wigan at the Liberty, with Nathan Byrne finishing off a swift counter-attack move to put the visitors ahead.

But Steve Cooper's side hit back almost immediately, with fellow new arrival Conor Gallagher sliding a disguised pass into Brewster inside the Wigan 18-yard box, and the on-loan Liverpool man drilled his finish past David Marshall.

It was nothing more than Brewster deserved, as his opening efforts showed a great deal of industry.

Supporters of both Liverpool and Swansea were quick to praise Brewster getting off the mark so quickly.

Amazingly, Before the match, Brewster uploaded a picture to his Instagram with a mocked-up image of him scoring at the Liberty Stadium.

The teenage striker was up for interview this week, saying he wanted to help Swansea back to the Premier League.

"I want to play for something. With Swansea the aim is to get promoted and I’m going to try everything I can to help the team get there.

"Of course I want to score a few goals. It’s about me, but it’s also not about me.

"I’ve come to Swansea to help the team get promoted. If that’s me scoring, I don’t know – 15 goals, then I hope I do.
