'Outstanding display' - Bristol City player ratings as Robins thrash Millwall

Max O'Leary - 8

A string of saves to keep the clean sheet intact in the first half, with two dives to his right in particular to stop Bennett scoring. Missed a cross in the second period and out-jumped by Smith towards the end but that is nitpicking.

Adrian Mariappa - 6

A good cross to set up Diedhiou for a possible second goal and several timely interceptions at the back. Didn't do enough to pressure Hunt for his place though.

Tomas Kalas - 8

The captain continually mopped up at the back and was too good for Zohore, Parrott and Bradshaw, with the Millwall attack unable to bypass City's skipper.

Taylor Moore - 7

Poor pass back to goal in the first half put his side under pressure and outmuscled by Bradshaw at times. But did enough to help City to a second clean sheet in three games.

Tommy Rowe - 9

Terrific shift from the left-back who has really progressed this season. By the end he had made the joint most tackles with Bakinson and most interceptions. Stopped the home side advancing down his flank.

Tyreeq Bakinson - 8

Brilliant pass to Diedhiou in the 26th minute but Romeo covered to stop the forward scoring. And got better as the game went on: made the most tackles with Rowe although his passing was a different class to most others at times.

Antoine Semenyo - 8

Should have done better when he led a first-half counter-attack but failed to find a team-mate. But kept running at Ferguson and Romeo and after almost netting in the second half but for a flag, he scored the goal of the game to seal the match. Cool celebration too.

Nahki Wells of Bristol City and teammates take a knee (Rogan/JMP)

Zak Vyner - 9

Turned neatly in midfield before volleying over the bar before his neat prod through set up Diedhiou to win the penalty. Looks better and better in midfield, as one neat drag-back to keep possession showed real quality.

Kasey Palmer - 8

Crunching sliding tackle after 25 minutes before a great ball out to Semenyo that led to City's counter-attack after Rowe had cleared off the line. Sprayed a brilliant pass out to Semenyo in the second half and Millwall struggled to stop him without fouling him.

Famara Diedhiou - 8

From zero to hero? Sent off against Millwall in December but won and converted the penalty - past Frank Fielding - to open the scoring. Should have done better from Mariappa's cross but he fought hard for the team in attack, still.

Nahki Wells - 9

Back in form as he worked hard down his flank, adding physicality and contributing in attack when his deflected free-kick wrong-footed Fielding. Also set up Semenyo with a delightful pass that showed outstanding vision.
