Sky F1 pundit line-up: Who is presenting and commentating on 2026 season?

Danica Patrick will not feature as an F1 pundit for Sky Sports this season after the broadcaster revealed their pundit line-up for the 2026 campaign.

IndyCar race winner Patrick, who joined Sky as a regular pundit on races stateside in 2022, last appeared on the British broadcaster’s coverage at the 2025 US Grand Prix in Austin.

Yet ahead of the new season starting in Australia this weekend, Sky have confirmed that Patrick - who has been outspoken in her political support for Donald Trump in the last few years - will “not be part of the Sky Sports F1 team going forward.”

A Sky spokesperson added that Patrick, 43, will be focusing on other projects this year.

Patrick also appeared on season six of Drive to Survive in 2024, but was replaced by 2009 F1 world champion Jenson Button last year.

As for Button, he will attend more races this season for Sky, having retired from all forms of motorsport last year. Regular co-commentator Martin Brundle is set to work around 16 of the 24 races.

Other former drivers appearing on Sky’s coverage throughout the year include 1997 world champion Jacques Villeneuve, 2016 champion Nico Rosberg, ex-drivers Karun Chandhok and Anthony Davidson, as well as W Series champion Jamie Chadwick.

Simon Lazenby will continue to be the lead presenter, with Natalie Pinkham stepping in for her first race in Japan at the end of the month. Rachel Brookes will continue as the lead media pen reporter, with Ted Kravitz in the pit-lane and David Croft as lead commentator.

The new campaign starts with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne this weekend, with the race starting at 4am (GMT).
