Outriders’ Mega Buff Patch Notes Are Finally Here, Patch Live Now

Outriders players have been dealing with the lengthy delay of a big balance patch for the game meant to buff a bunch of underused abilities in the game, seeing it shelved week after week because of some sort of tricky crashing issue People Can Fly couldn’t pin down.

Well, today the patch has finally made it out the door and into Outriders itself, and the full notes now explore just how many new builds you may want to try out now that the buffs are live.

Here are the newly buffed skills and other adjustments that have just gone live in the game. Most of these were previewed already, but a few have been modified, usually for the better:

Outriders People Can Fly

Pyromancer

• Feed the Flames Bullet Absorption mod now gives 40% ammo instead of 33%
• Volcanic Rounds Susceptibility mod now gives a 50% Resistance debuff instead of 34%
• Ash Blast’s base cooldown is down from 27.5 seconds to 23.5 seconds.
• Ash Blast’s Death Sentence mod now lasts 8 seconds instead of 5 seconds.

Outriders People Can Fly

Trickster

• Borrowed Time’s base cooldown is down from 13.5 seconds to 8 seconds.
• Slow Trap’s base cooldown is down from 30.7 seconds to 21 seconds.
• Time Rift’s base cooldown is down from 15.4 seconds to 12 seconds.
• Time Rift’s A Little Bit of Pain mod had its DOT increased by 71% and duration down from 10 seconds to 6 seconds.
• Time Rift’s Time Crack mod’s Armor and Resistance debuff is now 35% instead of 25%.
• Time Rift’s Pain Transfer mod’s Weapon Cleave damage is now 20% instead of 10%.

Outriders People Can Fly

Technomancer

• Pain Launcher’s base cooldown is down from 40 seconds to 30 seconds.
• Scrapnel’s base cooldown is down from 22 seconds to 17 seconds and Scrapnel has 19% increased base damage.
• Freeze Turret’s Hail Shot mod damage is increased by 50%, though variance depends on Status Power.

Outriders People Can Fly

Devastator

• Boulderdash now provides 65% damage reduction during its animation
• Boulderdash now allows players to trigger it again to us an AOE attack during the run.
• Endless Mass now allows enemies to be damaged and killed while trapped.
• Endless Mass’s Wide Horizon’s mod will ignore the Absorbing Skin mod from Brood Mothers and Alpha Perforos.
• Reflect Bullets can now be ended early refunding up to 90% of the cooldown.

All Class Armor And Weapon Mods

• Personal Space mod has its damage bonus increased to 25% from 15%.
• Critstack has its Anomaly Power boost increased by 21%.
• Stand Tall will increase its base Firepower bonus by 20% and its base Anomaly Power by 16%.
• Perseverance Shield will increase its shield value by 40%.
• Blazing Aegis will have the armor increase it gives increased by 21%.
• Plate Dodge will increase its armor value by 12% and duration upped to 7 seconds from 5.
• Anomaly Enhancement is being increased to 40% Anomaly Power from 30%.
• Bone Shrapnel’s damage is being increased by 5%.

Other Changes

• The anti-duplication system no longer takes into account gear you’re wearing, meaning it’s easier to farm for better versions of gear that is already in your build.
• The Borealis set now applies 90% damage increase to all frozen targets correctly.
• The Devastator Statue set bonus can now be maintained for longer than 8 seconds total.
• The Trickster Venator Knife should now better target enemies.
• The Trickster Hunter the Prey skill should now always turn players toward the enemy.
• The Pyromancer Thermal Bomb will no longer accidentally lose charges if interrupted.

So, it’s a ton of stuff to try out. Now we just need some sort of announcement that an expansion is coming….
