'Outrageous' history-making try leaves three million stunned as it becomes rugby's most viewed video

Japan recorded their first win in history over Ireland at the HSBC Singapore Sevens thanks to a truly magnificent last gasp try.

Footage of their dramatic score has quickly become the most-watched rugby video on TikTok this week, with over three million views and almost half a million likes. It is no surprise either, as the effort is epitome of team-work and true synergy between players.

The move starts out with 33 seconds left on the clock, and the Japanese have the ball on the halfway line. They work the ball left and right, with seemingly no sign of a linebreak.

However, through a series of chaotic offloads, rampaging support lines and outright instinctive play, they mange to complete a remarkable score with clock well into the red.

You can watch the epic try below.

Try-scorer Yoshihiro Noguchi was elated as the Japan coaching team and fans went wild. The commentary team were in awe of the try.

"Yes Noguchi! Japan, outrageous rugby! Sevens rugby at its finest." said the commentator.

The TikTok video of the try may have even converted some people into rugby fans.

"Apparently I’m now a rugby fan!" said one.

"I know nothing about rugby but that was amazing" said another.
