A prankster has sparked outrage after claiming they missed Asda chicken thighs 'more than freedom' in a bogus review under the name 'Shamima Begum'.
The prank comment about the supermarket's £2.18 Butcher Selection Chicken Thighs claims the only reason she wants 'back in' is to buy the chicken again.
Outraged Alison Bolton, 47, noticed what appears to be a tasteless joke as she shopped online from her home in Malvern, Worcestershire, a few weeks ago.
She couldn't believe it and demanded Asda customer services removed the post.
The review, which claims to be from the ISIS bride, reads: "Lovely chicken I separate and freeze them and defrost them 1 at a time and have a small chicken dinner I've even had casserole they're great for the price.
"This is one of the only reason I want back in to buy this chicken again.
"I miss it more than I miss my freedom."
Alison told The Sun : "I just happened to scroll down and saw it. And then of course I twigged, 'Oh Shamima Begum, oh well that's clearly not her.'
"So I took a screenshot and sent it to customer services saying 'I think you need to remove this, really, because it's just a joke in poor taste.'
"Surely they've got the facilities to cancel someone's account that's using a name like that."
An Asda spokesman told Mirror Online: "The review has now been taken down."
