Outrage as small Dalkeith family business vandalised for ninth time in nine weeks

A small family-run business in Dalkeith has become the target of repeated vandalism.

Apache Services, of 1 Tait Street, took to Facebook to ask their local community for support after the shop was vandalised for the ninth time in nine weeks.

The shop , which offers shoe repairs, key cutting and engraving has been open in Dalkeith for almost 40 years.

In pictures shared online it can be seen that physical damage has been done to the premises as well as being covered in offensive graffiti.

Apache Services wrote: "We have ran the shop there for over 40 years and have amazing support from all our locals and beyond, and never have we had this problem before.

"We have no idea what the reason is behind this and we are calling out for you lovely people to help us keep an eye out on the building if you're around at night."

Anyone with information is urged to contact Apache Services or Dalkeith police station using 101 who are aware of the situation.
