Outrage as sickos leave dead rabbits lined up on path in Conna, Co Cork

Warning Distressing Images

Locals in a Cork village have been left outraged after 13 dead rabbits were left lined up on a path.

Children were forced to avoid the dead animals as they made their way to school in Conna, near Fermoy on Tuesday morning.

Conna Community Council uploaded the sick image and said: "Why in the world would anyone lay out thirteen dead rabbits in a row on the path to the school this morning? Some of them just babies.

"Thanks to Patrick for clearing them away. Sorry for the children who had to see that on the way to school."

Limerick Animal Welfare contacts gardai after a video of German Shepard being abused posted online

The page later added that gardai called out to the scene, and claimed officers are "satisfied that lampers paid us a visit last night, got disturbed and left their haul behind".

A garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí are aware of this incident and are carrying out enquiries to establish the facts."
