Outlander stars Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish spotted filming in Scots village

Outlander stars Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish have been spotted filming in a coastal village in the East Neuk of Fife.

The pair were seen filming their new travel show 'Men in Kilts' after it was suspended during lockdown.

They were pictured on a boat in Pittenweem and appeared to be doing a spot of fishing.

One local fisherman Russell Ritchie said that the two actors were "catching their dinner" with prawns and lobster on the menu.

The dynamic duo will be keen to get filming out the way during their break in filming for international hit show Outlander.

The Starz show is currently waiting to begin filming for season six with the shooting schedule currently on hold.

The duo have been travelling around Scotland meeting local producers, craft people and experts, exploring and celebrating Scottish history and culture for their new venture.

Sprung from the Clan Lands podcast idea, the new new TV show was commissioned by Starz and is an eight part series due out later this year.

“I wanted to do a podcast in my spare time, and I thought I'd shoot some visuals for it,” Heughan said recently in an interview with Oprah Magazine.

“The more I was getting into producing it, it's the first thing I’d produced, and I really enjoyed it. So I decided to make it into a TV show! Dare I say, I think it looks really fun.”

We can't wait to see this pair get up to.
