Outlander star Sam Heughan has shared the hilarious on-set moment after he was 'sh*t on' by a bird.
The 39-year-old actor posted the clip to his 522,000 followers on Twitter with the caption "oh...good" with a red-faced emoji.
Heughan , who stars as Jamie Fraser in the series, can be seen dressed in full Outlander gear for filming when the unfortunate event took place.
In the clip, the gutted actor says: "I just got sh*t on by a bird. There we are"
Co-star Caitriona Balfe, who plays Claire Fraser in the hit show, also shared in the hilarity on social media .
She tweeted: "Yes @SamHeughan ... it is good luck if a bird craps on you! (Ahem)".
Fans of the show were quick to have a laugh at Heughan's expense.
One joked: "I bet they didn't tell you about these lovely work bonuses when you signed on, did they?"
Another said: "She [Caitriona] is right. It's good luck... for the bird!! Not so much for the recipient".
And one replied: "Good for you that you weren't looking up!"
