Scottish heartthrob and Outlander star, Sam Heughan, has told his fans to reach out to loved ones over this holiday season in a heartfelt Christmas message.
Best known for his portrayal of character Jamie Fraser in the hit US series Outlander, the actor shared his advice with Forbes when discussing the launch of his new tequila.
The season six premiere date for Outlander was revealed and Heughan fans could rejoice further when it was announced that ‘Men In Kilts’ was renewed for a second season.
Alongside this, the Scottish star had launched his own tequila through his company ‘The Sassenach Spirits.”
He ended his interview with a message to his fans, he said: “You know, stay warm. Reach out to your friends and family, if it’s in-person or online, and I know that we will be together soon, certainly for another season of Outlander."
He also plugged his new alcoholic drink, and said: "Enjoy the tequila! There’s not a hell of a lot of it because it is a small batch, but if you manage to get your hands on it, I hope you appreciate it because we put a lot of love and energy into it, and I guess friendship, as well.”
As Sam issued the sweet advice to his fans for their Christmas, he revealed during the interview he will be spending his alone, according to the Daily Record.
He confessed: “Well, I think I’m allowed to reveal that I’m going to actually be alone in quarantine over the Christmas period. I’m going to New Zealand, shooting Men In Kilts, our next season down in New Zealand, so I will be taking a bottle maybe of both [tequila and whisky], so it will be a very merry Christmas but quite a lonely one.”
