The official Outlander Instagram account has shared a behind the scenes snap of main characters Jamie Fraser and Roger Mac, making fans even more excited for season six to kick off.
Actors Sam Heughan and Richard Rankin posed in their Outlander outfits for the camera on the set of 'Fraser's Ridge'.
Filming for season six has been in full swing and it's just a matter of time before the official launch date is announced - and we cannot wait.
But to tease fans for the upcoming season, the account posted a picture of the pair and wrote: " Let's hear it for the boys. #Outlander."
And fans went crazy for on-screen father and son-in-law duo.
One said: "Wow! Can’t wait for season 6!"
Another added: "Costumes are amazing. Very beautiful."
While one penned: "Looking good men of the Ridge."
And another wrote: "Patiently waiting for season 6!"
While it's not known when exactly the new series will be released, filming has been in full swing since January but one thing that fans are delighted about is that season seven of the show has been confirmed.
Back in March, the Outlander cast confirmed that they would be returning for a seventh season of the popular show.
The cast, which includes Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin, made a video on the official Outlander Instagram page to 'end the speculation' on whether the show would be returning after the sixth season.
In the video, the four actors can be seen reading out questions from fans all with the same subject matter.
Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser, read out a question from his on-screen wife Caitriona Balfe.
He read out: "@CaitrionaBalfe Am I coming back to work next year and can I have a bigger trailer?"
Looking amused, Sam then added: "I'm afraid Caitriona no you can't have a bigger trailer, however, you are coming back for season seven! Yes!'"
