Outlander's Sam Heughan forced to wear pyjamas for days after luggage lost ahead of show premiere

Outlander's Sam Heughan admitted he has been wearing pyjamas for four days in a row after his luggage got lost in New Zealand.

The Scots actor revealed he'd flown to LA during the treacherous weather brought by Storm Eunice earlier this week.

And as he recovers from the ordeal, he's also still waiting for his cases ahead of the show's much-aniticipated season six premiere on March 6.

He told Zoe Ball on her breakfast show earlier today: "So I flew in during the storm. I was one of those people on the jet on TV. Oh it was very exciting, but I'm still waiting for my bag. It's been four days and I've been living in my pyjamas."

Sam was in New Zealand to film the second season of Men In Kilts, a road trip with his friend Grahamme McTavish.

The star joked with Zoe it would be funny if the two actors got one another's clothes.

He said: 'We've only just finished it so obviously it's going to take a bit of time to edit."

Sam also spoke fondly of his Men in Kilts co-star but joked he didn't know if he was alive or dead following their latest antics.

He joked: "He's much older and I do enjoy torturing him. He's a great sport. And to be honest that's the whole premise of the show. I basically take him places where he doesn't enjoy and drop him off very high places.

"Yeah so there was a lot of that in New Zealand lots of extreme sports, so I'm not sure if he's still alive actually."

During their chat Sam also talked about enjoying "being sandwiched" between Oprah Winfrey and Michell Obama for his audiobook.

An he hinted that there may be "some singing" in his new film with Priyanka Chopra and Celine Dion.
