Sam Heughan fans are in a frenzy after the actor shared the latest trailer for his new film Love Again.
The Outlander actor, who has been playing Jamie Fraser on the hit show since 2013, posted the trailer for his new film on Tuesday morning as fans went wild. Sam, 42, will star alongside music legend Celine Dion and Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra-Jonas in the romantic-comedy flick.
The film will see Heughan portray journalist Rob Burns who begins receiving unexpected romantic text messages from an unknown number. Chopra-Jonas will take on the role of grieving Mira Ray, who still sends a flurry of devoted text messages to her ex-fiancé's phone number - which unbeknownst to her has been reassigned to Rob.
As Rob heals his own broken heart, his boss assigns him the unlikely task of profiling the amazing Celine Dion where he will then enlist her help to meet Mira and win her over.
Posting the new clip on Instagram, fans went wild over Celine's role in the film. In the trailer, fans are treated to a conversation between Celine and Sam in their roles.
"Do you have anyone special in your life?" Celine asks, while Rob responds: "It didn't work out..."
Trying to lift his spirits, Celine continues: "Let's breathe. All the way down to your.... Testicles."
Viewers couldn't believe their eyes, and took to the comments to buzz over the upcoming project. Former Love Island host Laura Whitmore wrote: "Celine OMG!!!!"
"So excited for you, Sam! This movie looks wonderful! Can’t wait to watch it!," penned another fan. A third wrote: "Can’t wait to watch this movie ! I love romantic comedies because love is the most beautiful and important thing in the world. Unconditional love, based on respect, honesty, trust and desire. Mira and Rob will make me dream."
Love Again starring Sam Heughan, Priyanka Chopra-Jonas, and Celine Dion will hit theatres on May 12, 2023.
