Outlander's Sam Heughan was so impressed by a beer that had Jamie Fraser's face on it that he wanted to try it.
And the Scots heartthrob was keen to see if the handsome pint of nectar tasted as good as it looked.
Sam was shown a picture of the Jamie Fraser pint by one of his fans who wrote: "Thought it was fitting to spend part of my #wilmingtonnc vacation with #jamiefraser at Cape Fear Wine and Beer!! #outlander @SamHeughan @Outlander_STARZ @Writer_DG"
On seeing the creation which featured Jamie's head and shoulders on it, Sam wrote: "Wow! How does it taste and where do I get one?"
Unfortunately it seems like the perfect looking pint was a bit far for a day trip, even for the time traveller, as it is in North Carolina.
Fans loved the idea of 'tasting' Jamie Fraser.
One said: "Oh hell if that’s the closest my lips are getting to Sam …. I’m going to slurp it up slowly & enjoy it!!"
Another added: "Don't know if I could drink it I wouldn't want to spoil the picture."
And someone else said: "Wow that's kinda like finding Jesus on a peice of toast."
As others pondered that they didn't know whether to frame it or drink it another suggested: 'Let’s all go to North Carolina to drink with Jamie Fraser."
