It's the photo that's been superimposed on everything from film scenes to the streets of Scotland, and now the Bernie Sanders meme has been given the Outlander effect.
Fans have hilariously combined the viral photo of the senator bundled up at Joe Biden’s inauguration with set photos from the hit show.
In the pics, Bernie can be seen sitting alongside both Sam and Caitriona - much to the delight of Outlander lovers.
Sam Heughan was so impressed he shared one of the pics to his IG Stories.
The star has been following the Presidential inauguration closely, in a tweet, he wrote: "Congratulations America! A new president and a new start.
"Hopefully the country can heal. Sending love from Scotland."
He then added: "Wow. I’m emotional. Sun is shining and positive vibes. Really want to see America heal and become good again.x"
Bernie Sanders has already taken advantage of his new mittens meme, by printing it on a new sweatshirt, and giving all of the proceeds to charity.
According to Rolling Stone, the “Chairman Sanders Crewneck” - named in honour of his assumption of the powerful Senate Budget Committee chair - is on sale now for $45 (£32).
100 percent of the proceeds are going to Meals on Wheels Vermont, and according to the website is already in great demand.
