It's less than a week until hit show Outlander is back on our screens.
Outlander series six returns this Sunday after an unexpected two year wait due to the global pandemic and fans are buzzing.
Yesterday, the official Outlander Instagram page posted another teaser marking one week until the season six release and fans flocked to the comments to express their excitement.
The post was captioned: "This is not a drill! #Outlander returns in ONE WEEK."
The short showed Claire and her daughter Brianna in Claire's surgery with the words 'ONE WEEK' emblazoned across the screen.
Fans were delighted with the short piece of footage.
One wrote: "Excited!! Though 8 episodes will go by so fast!!"
Another added: "I am sooooo READY !!!!!"
While one wrote: " I feel like we need a watch party!"
And another commented: "March 6th is locked in my calendar!"
This season is set to be shorter than normal with only eight episodes, but it isn't going to be any less dramatic if the episode titles are anything to go by.
With names like Hour of the Wolf, Sticks and Stones and even more dramatically, The World Turned Upside Down it seems this shorter season will be action packed.
Outlander has now officially stopped being free to view to subscribers on Amazon's streaming service in the UK,
Fans will have to sign up to a subscription service Starzplay to watch their favourite show.
Those wanting to catch up with the first five seasons before the new one airs will also have to stream them using pay for streaming site Starzplay.
The move, which was first announced back in September last year.
