Outlander fanatic US comedian gives hilarious take on five things to know about Scotland after falling in love with show

A US comedian who recently went viral for his newfound love of Outlander has given his hilarious take on five things everyone needs to know about Scotland.

Josh Pray hit the headlines earlier this year after posting a comedic review of why he was addicted to the hit time-travel show after binge-watching the first series.

Now, he's back after fans asked him to give his side-splitting views around the misconceptions people have about Scotland.

The quick-witted reviewer was happy to provide a sharp take on some of the things people think they know about Scotland - but really don't.

Kicking off with music, Josh launched into a spiel about bagpipes and why not everyone in Scotland loves the instrument, he said: "When you think about Scotland you think about bagpipes, but Scotland folks don't just listen to bagpipes.

"No one just wakes up at 17 years old and says 'you know what' I'm not gonna listen to anything but bagpipe music for the rest of my life'."

The hysterical rant includes busting the myths around kilts, whisky, and even Irn Bru.

And in a point that will win the approval of most Scots we would think, he adds: "They don't like the deep-fried Mars Bar.

"If you want to offend a Scottish person; disrespect the Irn-Bru, disrespect the whisky, and praise the deep-fried Mars Bar - you probably won't even make it out."

He then takes time to tackle the fact that not everyone in Scotland is a "ginger with freckles", adding that every child that's born in the country "does not look like Ed Sheeran".

Finally, he finishes on the thing that probably annoys Scottish people the most, saying: "Scotland is not a part of England. Scotland and England are two totally different places, with two totally different lifestyles."

Clearly, he's a man that knows what he's talking about.
