Outlander cast and fans celebrated the birthday of Claire Elizabeth Beauchamp Randall Fraser's as she turned 103.
Actress Caitriona Balfe couldn't resist paying tribute to her beloved character who is said to have been born in 1918.
Some fans were confused about Claire's actual age - as they insisted time travel could make her even older - or not born yet.
A post on the official Outlander page said: "The celebrations continue with the fictional birthday of a very, very real inspiration.
"In her honor, let's hear what you love most about Claire Elizabeth Beauchamp Randall Fraser. #Outlander"
Caitrionia herself said: "Never imagined I’d be given a gift like Claire…. Happy Birthday to the greatest character to play."
And the Outlander account wrote back: "Having you to embody her is an even greater gift."
One fan said: "Claire Fraser is 103 or 303 today! Time travel math is hard. Either way she's the badass mother Fraser of all times."
Another added: "Without Claire #Outlander would be Sasse-no-nach."
And another said: "Well YOU Caitriona are the gift that keeps on giving, I only hope you can find the time to read all these heartfelt comments, and the "powers that be" read them as well...renegotiate your contract girl!"
Someone else said: "Happy Birthday Claire! I love her heart, kindness, & tenacity. Just like you, Caitriona."
