Outfit at Kirkstall Bridge closing down just months after retail park loses Peacocks

A big name fashion chain is closing their store at Kirkstall Bridge Shopping Park.

Signing reading ‘closing down sale’ have gone up in the windows of Outfit. The retailer sells a combination of goods from brands such as Tophshop, Burton and Dorothy Perkins amongst others.

Outfit, and these other brands, are part of the Arcadia Group which is currently experiencing high-profile financial troubles.

Arcadia, which employs around 13,000 people, collapsed into administration last month as high street lockdowns prompted by the coronavirus pandemic piled on pressure after years of flagging sales.

The Outfit branch in Kirkstall is currently offering reductions of up to 50 per cent off their products as part of their closing down sale.

Earlier this year, Peacocks at Kirkstall Bridge Shopping Park closed and M&S Food shut in 2019.
