Outdoor sports venues across Glasgow are to reopen this week following the Scottish Government’s decision to ease the lockdown on non-contact outdoor sports.
Glasgow Life has confirmed on social media this morning that some of their golf, tennis and bowls facilities will open as of this coming Thursday (June 18).
These include Knightswood and Lethamhill golf courses; Kelvingrove, Queen’s Park and Drumchapel Tennis and Kelvingrove, Queen’s Park and Knightswood Bowls.
The charity is urging players to be considerate and only book one slot per week to allow everyone a chance to play as they anticipate a high volume of bookings - with a number of changes made to their practices to ensure the safety of players and staff.
People are being asked not to just turn up and instead to book in advance.
Booking can be made from today (June 15) here.
