Outdoor cinema screenings coming to one of Liverpool's most iconic venues

A stunning outdoor cinema experience is heading to one of Liverpool’s most loved spaces, the Bombed Out Church.

Two films are set to be screened at the iconic venue this Halloween weekend, including The Shining and Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.

The Covid-safe event will run from October 30 - 31, with socially distanced seating, hand sanitising stations and service to your seat after ordering via a QR code menu.

Fans will be able to enjoy the films alongside food and drink, which can be ordered at the venue or in advance with your ticket.

Anyone wanting to order alcoholic drinks will need to pre-book this online, as all alcohol must be served with a ‘substantial’ meal.

Fans can order tickets for the film itself (£10), the film and pizza (£15), or the film, pizza and an alcoholic drink (£20) or two (£25).

The Shining will be screened this Friday, October 30, with Psycho following on Halloween night, October 31. Both events begin from 7pm.

The events are being held outdoors, so remember to wrap up warm.

It’s important to note that group bookings must be within your own household or bubble and face masks must be worn until you are seated for the film.

This event is 18+. Tickets can be booked via EventBrite here.
