As Tommy said when the Trainspotting boys decided to take a trip to the Highlands: "It's the great outdoors! It's fresh air!"
Renton's acerbic reply about Scotland would go down in cinema history - but in the same outdoorsy spirit a cinema is hosting an open-air showing of Trainspotting.
There will be a pop-up bar with draught beer at the Cameo cinema's screening, which is being hosted by the Jupiter Artland venue in West Lothian.
The event kicks off at 7pm on May 26, with games and a quiz taking place before the show starts at 9pm.

The Cameo say: "This summer we’re taking the Cameo outdoors to the grand setting of the gardens of Jupiter Artland.
"The film will start around 9.00pm – as soon as it gets dark. Before the film there will be entertainment in the form of garden games and our very own film quiz – prizes will be up for grabs!
"The screenings take place in the open, feel free to bring along blankets, cushions or small picnic chairs – however, these must be placed towards the rear of the grass area."
