'Out of this world' - Rate My Takeaway star gives his verdict on Newcastle's beasty 30 inch pizza and burger feast at city's Meat:Stack

Rate My Takeaway YouTube star Danny Malin visited Newcastle to try out the city's popular burger haunt Meat:Stack as well as a giant 30-inch pizza that's won a legion of fans on TikTok.

The straight-talking Yorkshireman has gained thousands of followers on social media for his honest reviews of food from takeaways and independent businesses across the UK. His most recent trip saw him pull up outside of takeaway Pizzaholic on Chillingham Road, Heaton, to try its beasty 30 inch pizza.

Armed with his own table and chair, Danny sat outside of the shop to tuck into the enormous feast with slices featuring toppings including donner meat, pepperoni, chicken tikka, and chips. In his YouTube video called 'I ordered the biggest 30 inch pizza in the UK', which was released on March 23, Danny gave his verdict.

"I don't think I've ever had a pizza as big, to be honest," he said. "This is enormous. It would feed me, my kids and half of the street by the looks of it.

"You can't even pick it up it's that heavy. Look at the size of it!"

He resorted to rolling up slices and dipping them in a giant tub of garlic dip in an effort to get around as much of the pizza as possible. Washing it down with cans of Fanta, Danny said he felt it was a good value for money.

"If I'm honest, I was a little bit worried that due to the size of it, whether the flavour was going to be there," he said. "But the toppings I have tasted are nice and fresh. It is a nice thin base and there is a nice bit of cheese on there.

"The tomato base is just about right and then each individual pizza slice, the flavours from each of the individual toppings are nice and fresh. There is definitely enough here to feed a family of four. Easy.

"I think value for money, £25 is spot on to be fair. The whole unique part of having a pizza this big is just out of this world.

"I can't give it less than a solid 10 because it has met my expectations. It is a decent-tasting pizza and the toppings are nice and fresh."

During his trip to Newcastle, Danny also visited Meat:Stack in the Bigg Market where he tried two burgers - the YellowStone burger and the French Canadian, along with fries, Meat:Stack sauce, and a Raspberry Jam milkshake. "This is what dreams are made of," he said.

"The chips are a little bite of heaven. Cooked in beef dripping, I think this is the way that all potatoes should be fried.

"It is absolutely gorgeous. The burgers have beautiful buns, they are put together well and quality beef is used.

"It is probably one of the nicest smash burgers I have had for a while. I've had an absolute blast. It is a solid 10 from me without a doubt."
