Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda unrecognisable in throwback wedding picture

Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen looked like a completely different person as she shared a throwback snap from her wedding in 2000.

The shepherdess and her husband Clive Owen met in 1995 before tying the knot five years later.

Viewers know her for her large family of nine children as well as the family's TV show where they enjoy countryside lives to the fullest.

But in the snap from her wedding day, Amanda looked worlds away from her usual self as she rocked an off-the-shoulder wedding gown.

Rather than the traditional white, Amanda went for something a little more cream-coloured and embossed.

Staying true to her love of animals and nature, she was pictured with a majestic horse while Clive stood to the other side.

Now, Amanda can usually be seen in activewear or gorgeous mini dresses as she tends to her farm.

Amanda and Clive star in their Channel 5 series, based at their farm Ravenseat, with their nine children.

Their kids include Raven, 20, Reuben, 17, Miles, 15, Edith, 12, Violet, 10, Sidney, nine, Annas, seven, Clemmie, five, and Nancy, four.

Amanda Owen had her patience tested by the replacement sheepdog (Channel 5)

Our Yorkshire Farm recently returned to our screens, showcasing homeschooling during the lockdown as well as their chaotic lives.

In one of the new episodes, the 47-year-old saw her patience tested when she had to work with a different sheepdog to herd a group of sheep.

Amanda is used to working with her own loyal and beloved pooch, Kate – but the farmworker realised she couldn’t have her chasing after sheep after discovering the dog is six weeks pregnant.

Fortunately, Amanda’s 68-year-old husband, Clive, had his own dog, Midge, available to work with Amanda instead.

But to say there was a breakdown in communication between Amanda and her substitute sheepdog would be an understatement – as chaos ensued when Midge refused to listen to Amanda’s commands.

Clive explained: "Midge is my main dog. He is a very good dog but he is very young and he is very strong.

"He takes a bit of handling. He is a one-man dog."

Admitting herself that “it could all go wrong”, Amanda said: "Midge and I have to form a bit of a bond. A friendship before lambing time.

"Because with Kate on maternity leave I'm going to be dogless. It's like starting over."
