Our Yorkshire Farm's Clive Owen has viewers in tears over heart-to-heart with daughter

Our Yorkshire Farm's Clive Owen left viewers in tears when he had an emotional heart-to-heart with his daughter Edith.

In the most recent programme, Clive told Edith that she would be in charge of the newest puppy to arrive on the farm and will need to train it.

Edith was excited to be trusted with the responsibility as she'd seen her other older siblings being trusted with similar situations.

Clive appeared more in this episode compared to usual which also featured a moment where Clive told his daughter that she had her whole life ahead of her.

He mentioned that he could have a future career in looking after sheepdogs.

Clive said: "You never know where you might end up - a famous sheepdog trainer. Who knows? You don’t know."

But Edith said she hadn't yet decided what she wanted to do as she replied: "I have run dogs before, like, I ran Kate. But, I’m not sure what I want to be yet."

Clive understood but reassured his daughter that it would be fun for her to still have her own puppy.

He added: "So if you become a top-notch London lawyer you’ll just have to take it with you.

"Who knows? What a lovely thing, to be young and lovely like you and have the world at your feet.

"Do whatever you like. What a great thing."

Fans took to Twitter to discuss how emotional the scene made them feel.

One person tweeted: "That was a lovely, fatherly talk that Clive gave to Edith, joined by Clemmie and Nancy," as another added: "Dad and daughter time. How lovely is Clive?"

A third person wrote: "Fifteen mins in and I have tears in my eyes already. Every father should talk to his daughters that way."

Another said: "I’ve enjoyed this episode - its been nice to see Clive with the kids more."

This comes after Amanda Owen refused to rule out having a 10th child.

Her and Clive share Raven, 20, Reuben, 18, Miles, 15, Edith, 13, Violet, 11, Sidney, nine, Annas, seven, Clemmy, six, and five-year-old Nancy.

Amanda told OK! : "I don’t know! If anyone knows anything it’s honestly that I have not got a plan.

"I plan for today and maybe tomorrow and that’s where it stops."

However, there have also recently been rumours that Clive and Amanda's relationship could be on the rocks after it came out that they reportedly hadn't been living together.

Since the rumours, the pair released a joint statement: "With the TV show and the books we've always aimed to show the reality of life on the farm, and just like any marriage we have our stresses and strains, coupled with all the complexities of what we do on the farm and bringing up nine kids.

"We're a normal family and we've never said our marriage is perfect.

"Unfortunately the constant intrusion into our lives from the media has amplified a rocky patch that we're going through.

"We ask that the media respect our privacy as we work through this."
