Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen welcomes new arrival to Ravenseat farm

Amanda Owen has welcomed a new arrival onto Ravenseat farm just in time for Christmas.

Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda, 48, shared a snap of one of her daughters Clemmy sitting in a barn alongside her cow Buttercup.

Amanda's daughter is grinning widely as she pets the cow's newborn calf.

Former Our Yorkshire Farmg star Amanda then added a video in the post, where she asked her daughter what they call the calf.

Amanda's daughter then said: "Eve, because she was born on Christmas Eve."

As the Yorkshire Shepherdess posted the string of photos and video on her Instagram page to introduce the new arrival, she wrote in the caption: "Christmas greetings to the new arrival, Buttercup’s newborn calf….Eve."

Some of Amanda's 533,000 followers took to the comment section to gush over the new calf.

One wrote: "How beautiful, happy Christmas x".

"So beautiful. Merry Christmas to you all," another wrote.

While a third added: "How lovely. Merry Christmas to you all," followed by a red heart emoji.

It comes as Amanda is set to spend her first Christmas following the announcement of her split from her husband Clive.

Amanda and Clive, 67, announced their split in June this year, following weeks of speculation over their relationship.

The joint statement read: "Clive and I have are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.

"This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family."

The statement continued: "Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children."

Amanda and Clive thanked everyone for their support and asked for privacy during this "difficult time".

Amanda and Clive married in 2000 – five years after they met in 1995. The couple share nine children together.

Earlier this month it was revealed that Amanda's popular show Our Yorkshire Farm would not be returning for another series.

The future of the programme, which first began in 2018, was thrown into doubt when the couple announced their separation after 21 years of marriage this summer.

And it has been confirmed the series has been cancelled. Channel 5 will be creating a new series, starring Amanda's ex-husband Clive and his eldest son Reuben, 18, the Mirror recently revealed.

Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive will see the pair travel beyond their remote hill farm in the Yorkshire Dale to launch a digging business venture together, involving groundwork and plant hire.

C5 factual boss Daniel Pearl said: "The Owens have become everyone’s favourite farming family and millions have enjoyed watching their unique way of life. It’s fantastic that we can now all follow Reuben and Clive on their next adventure."

Pearl added: "We remain absolutely committed to the whole wonderful Owen family and hope to announce new projects with Amanda very soon."
