Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen shares rare pictures with 'shy' son Miles

Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen has shared some special photos with her 'shy' son Miles.

The shepherdess uploaded the snaps after she joked she caught "the rare sighting" while she was walking to the cow shed.

Sharing the pics in which she and Miles smile for their selfie surrounded by cows and roosters, Amanda said: "Up’t cow shed when I catch a super rare sighting of the shy one, Miles."

Fans couldn't get over how photogenic the 15 year old was with many suggesting he should go into modelling.

"Miles is so handsome he could model. I’m surprised he’s not already been snapped up," wrote one viewer.

Another wrote: "Someone get Miles (and Reuben) a modelling contract! They’re all gorgeous kids. What a lovely family!"

While a third thought the teenager was "the image of his lovely dad".

The docuseries, which sees Amanda and her husband Clive take care of the stunning Ravenseat Farm returned to Channel 5 this month.

Former model Amanda juggles bringing up their nine children - Raven, 20, Reuben, 17, Miles, 15, Edith, 12, Violet, 10, Sidney, nine, Annas, seven, Clemmie, five, and Nancy, four - as well as writing a series of best-selling books about her life on the farm.

Amanda and Clive shot to fame in 2011 after appearing on the ITV series The Dales with Ade Edmondson, before being featured on Julia Bradbury’s Coast to Coast, as well as New Lives In The Wild with Ben Fogle.

The Owen family finally landed their own show in 2018.

The shepherdess, 47, has been open about the difficulties of running a farm and filming a hit TV show, while also looking after her brood.

Amanda confessed it was a struggle sometimes, and admitted she needs a break as she’s always in demand.

“Oh gosh, there's always someone screaming at me,” she told the Daily Express. “I’m never still, I'm always walking about and my mind is like a browser window with tons of tabs open.”

Amanda said once she’s out of the farmhouse, she’s “untouchable”, and retreats to a hidden spot of farmland to switch off and have some much-needed “headspace”.

The working mum recently saw her patience tested when she had to work with a different sheepdog to herd a group of sheep.

Chaos erupted on the set of Our Yorkshire Farm when Amanda was forced to work with the new pooch,

The former model is used to working with her own loyal and beloved dog, Kate – but the farm worker realised she may not be up to the job after discovering the dog is six weeks pregnant.

Fortunately, disaster was averted as Clive had his own dog, Midge, available to work with the shepherdess instead.

Our Yorkshire Farm is on Channel 5 on Tuesday at 9pm.
