Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen hailed by Countryfile star in gushing tribute

Amanda Owen is used to getting plaudits at the moment, as the Yorkshire shepherdess is taken into the hearts of the nation.

The 46-year-old Our Yorkshire Farm will be particularly pleased with what was said by Countryfile and Escape to the Country presenter, Jules Hudson, after they worked together on a TV project.

Amanda's stock has been rising with the success of the Channel 5 series, which follows her and husband Clive, 66, and their nine children as they work on their farm.

Jules has spoken about Amanda's new found fame and said that when working with her, he was stunned by Amanda's "passion for her life".

Speaking to The Express, Jules said: "I've worked with Amanda many times and she is a force of nature.

"She is the most astonishing individual and the family are an astonishing family."

He continued: "For her, it all started with social media and her just sharing her passion for her life.

"You know in this game of broadcasting when you're talking to people who are genuinely passionate about what they're doing, you're halfway there. It's an absolute joy".

Jules went on to say that Amanda does remarkably well considering all the challenges she must have, with the farm and their TV series among other projects.

He continued: "I think her version of rural life is particularly raw, particularly visceral and the challenges that she shares the day-to-day challenges are just enthralling".

Amanda has often opened up yo her fans about her struggles on her farm, Ravenseat, saying that she's had sleepless nights as the pandemic has meant their tourism side has been non-existent.

Their holiday homes have been closed for over a year and she has told her followers that there have been times she has struggled to pay the bills.

Amanda has told her fans on multiple occasions that life up on Ravenseat is difficult, revealing her sleepless nights and money struggles.

She told of how the family had been heavily impacted by the pandemic and with the lack of tourism, she was struggling to pay the bills.
