Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen hailed as 'effortlessly beautiful' in rain-soaked pics

Amanda Owen has been hailed on social media as "effortlessly beautiful" after posting rain-soaked snaps of herself while in the fields at Ravenseat Farm.

The 47-year-old star of Channel 5 series Our Yorkshire Farm is a former model and fans of the Yorkshire shepherdess have expressed their love of her natural beauty after she shared a slew of pics on Instagram.

Amanda may have posted more glamorous pics in the past but the selfies of her with a hoodie pulled tight over her wet hair seemed to strike a chord with her followers.

She captioned the photos: "Never fully dressed without a smile. *Albeit a pained one as we are all sopping wet.* #yorkshire #shepherdesses #rain #winter "

Amanda was joined by two of her nine children with husband Clive, as she went out into the fields to tend to their herd of sheep.

The weather in her part of Yorkshire certainly didn't look kind as she wore a thick waterproof jacket over a camouflage patterned hoodie, which struggled to keep Amanda's wet hair under control.

Despite the conditions, Amanda beamed a broad smile as she posed in the windswept conditions with her flock of sheep.

One commented: "Beautiful photos."

While another remarked about the photogenic mother-of-nine: "Soaked... Smiling and still effortlessly beautiful."

A third fan agreed, writing: "Soaking wet and still beautiful."

She posted pics of them getting comfy , captioning the fun snaps: "Play in a manger."

Amanda added: "Overhead conversation. 'Will the hay manger tip over ?' 'No, it’s very stable!' #yorkshire #horses #stable #manger #horses #barns "

Many approved of the kids getting to enjoy the great outdoors and Amanda has been praised for encouraging them to embrace nature before.

Among the many comments, one fan seemed to sum up the general opinion, writing: "How wonderful Happy childhood days."
