Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen and her kids frolic in a field of flowers

Amanda Owen took a small handful of her nine children to have some fun in a field full of flowers.

The shepherdess and her brood are frequently seen on Our Yorkshire Farm, giving their insight into farm life and what it's like for them growing up in such a busy environment.

The telly favourite and husband Clive certainly have their hands full - so some down time is always welcome.

Amanda took four of the family for a cute evening out as the rain relented for a few hours.

She uploaded a number of fun-filled snaps on Instagram and showed them off to her 350,000 followers.

Sidney, nine, Anna, seven, Clemmie, five, and Nancy, four, enjoyed some outside time with their mum.

The kids' mum looked sensational with a summer selfie as she stepped away from the farm.

"Immersing ourselves in the power of flowers," she captioned the photos.

"This evening we are beaming as we have found some absolute beauties that made our hearts sing!"

Clive is 20 years Amanda's senior at the age of 66 and have been married since 2000.

The couple also have Raven, 20, Reuben, 17, Miles, 15, Edith, 12, Violet, 10 and they all stayed at home instead of have a floral few hours.

Amanda's followers clearly loved the pictures.

One commented: "You are a true true earth mother. Your beautiful parenting is abundant in everything you do for those lovely children. You should be so very proud. The insight to your lives is so heartwarming."

Another posted: "You and your family are an inspiration."

A third told the proud parent: "You are a true wonderful mother farmer introducing your wonderful children to a great life on your farm. Can’t wait to see more of you all on the tv xx."

Amanda wrote about how the kids coped when there was a fatality among the animals in her 2019 book, Adventures Of The Yorkshire Shepherdess, especially as the children create their own bond with the animals.

In one section, Amanda writes about her son Miles, who has the farm's hens under his responsibility as well as a flock of sheep.

She said that Miles wants to become a full-time farmer when he is old enough and follow in the footsteps of his father.

He did suffer heartbreak though when one of his sheep tragically passed away.

Amanda wrote: “Miles, who was born in 2006, is like Reuben in that he doesn’t like school.

“But unlike his older brother, he’s discovered a new interest, girls.”

She continued: “He’s a real ladies’ man. With his wide brown eyes peeping out under his foppish fringe, he is bound to charm.

“He loves animals, nature programmes and the countryside."
