'Our reserve back four' - Liverpool supporters react to Man City defeat against Leicester City

Liverpool fans have put the pressure on their side ahead of facing Arsenal on Monday evening.

The Reds have made the perfect start to their Premier League title defence but face a tough task against a resurgent Arsenal side.

And they have already been handed a pre-match boost by title rivals Manchester City crashing to a shock 5-2 defeat to Leicester City as Jamie Vardy netted a hat-trick.

Here is how Reds fans reacted to the result.

Liverpool could go six points clear of City if they manage to beat Arsenal on Monday evening.

Post-match, City boss Guardiola said that whilst it was a blow for one of his sides to concede five goals for the first time in his career, it is still too early in the season to panic.

He told Sky Sports: "Of course it's hard but it's the second game in the Premier League.

"We have to try to see what we can do to avoid it next time.

"This is my job, of course I feel bad for the guys and the club but we have to analyse and improve the feeling what we have to do in these situations."

The Reds will have played a game more than their title rivals after they face Arsenal due to City having a later start to the season.

Yet, after the Reds stormed to the title last season, opening a gap at this stage could prove crucial.
