Northern Pride's huge LGBT celebration across Newcastle is in full swing.

After Bongo's Bingo opened the Pride Party in style on Friday , Saturday's festivities were launched with through Newcastle City Centre.

The marchers headed up to Exhibition Park and the Town Moor for Northern Pride festival's first full day.

Fleur East and Saara Aalto are among the acts performing on Saturday, on the Pride Festival Arena's main stage in the Town Moor .

Over in Exhibition park, the Community Village hosted a family zone, health and well-being area and Rainbow Village stalls.

Around 100,000 are expected to attend Pride this weekend.

Many wore colourful clothing, with pride-flag themed outfits and glitter proving to popular choices.

We've snapped some of the best outfits we could find at Saturday's Pride festival.

Pride continues on Sunday. Newcastle's famed cabaret club, Boulevard, is sending its stars to perform for the crowds.

Entry is free and all ages are welcome.
