Our Liverpool: Show us what your Easter looks like

Hello and welcome to Our Liverpool.

Another month means another edition of our Mersey Snaps photo competition. Last month we saw your amazing pictures of Spring throughout the month which was a mixed one for weather, but this month we're asking you to share your best photos of the Easter period.

That could be a family picnic in the park or a display of Easter eggs. Whatever it is, show us for your chance to be April's winner of Mersey Snaps.

Last month's winner was Stephen Carrigan's photo of spring geese going for a stroll with their mum on Liverpool's waterfront.

Family's 'impossible' journey after mum collapses running to help strangers

A family has defied the odds after a baby girl who once lay dying in her mum - herself dying from an aneurism after runnng to help strangers during a fire - grew up into a healthy teenage girl. Ashleigh Page Mulvaney's parents Alison and Daniel were told she may never be able to walk or talk after she was born not breathing.

Man, 95, spends 30 hours on 'war zone' hospital corridor

A man said a 30 hour visit to the hospital with his 95-year-old dad was like something out of a "disaster movie" with long queues of patients waiting on trolleys in corridors. John Lyness said he and his dad witnessed "chaos" at the Royal Liverpool Hospital during their prolongued trip despite the best efforts of the staff working there.

Joseph Nee's life of crime

The man who will forever be known as the intended target on the night of Olivia Pratt-Korbel's murder lived a grim life of crime and was hated by many. Joseph Nee's life is believed to have been spared by a malfunction in Thomas Cashman's gun on that night last August. Read the full piece here.
