For 25 years, the Northern Territory’s Hermannsburg potters have produced unique clay and terracotta pots. The new exhibition Our Land is Alive: Hermannsburg Potters for kids presents 20 ALF-themed Hermannsburg pots that depict iconic moments for Aboriginal players in the AFL. Football has long been an important part of the Hermannsburg community, and the pots mark some of the crucial moments in Indigenous football history.

Children and families can also take part in pottery activities and meet some of the Hermannsburg potters themselves, who will be in residence throughout the exhibition.
