If you love to cook, you’ve probably heard of HexClad, especially as it's endorsed by none other than Chef Gordon Ramsay. Renowned for chef-approved pans and knives, HexClad's quality cookware is truly unmatched (take it from me).
Now, I'm a big fan of HexClad, but I'm also a big fan of saving money (who isn't), so when a HexClad sale rolls around, you bet I've got my eyes on the deals.
Not only is HexClad running a massive Prime Time Sale event, but Amazon has also just dropped some HexClad Prime Day deals. The majority of discounts are the same, but Hexclad is offering good deals on big bundles, so if you're kitting out a new kitchen or have had your eye on multiple cookware items for a while, now is your time to shop.
My top HexClad sale picks
This summer, you can get deep discounts on best-selling sets and individual pieces in the HexClad sale.
I have just tested and reviewed this HexClad knife set, and accidentally fallen in love. I've tested tons of knives from the most premium brands but now I've got used to the control, balance, and sheer sharpness of this HexClad set, it’s hard to reach for anything else.
HexClad curated this set after studying cooks around the world. Home cooks reach these three pans for the most – whether searing a steak for one, baking a frittata for four, or sizzling chicken and finishing it in the oven. If you’re a beginner or a keen cook investing in good quality stuff for the first time, this is a great place to start.
Gordon Ramsey's favorite (and mine too). When I was working as a recipe editor, we used this 10-inch frying pan to test and shoot recipes, particularly sizzling steak, and seared seafood. This bundle comes with a tight-fitting glass lid, too.
This 'Starter' set includes a classic pan and pot with tight fitting glass lids. I didn't think I needed a HexClad saucepan before I got one, but now I wouldn't be without it. I use it for boring tasks like boiling pasta, but the non-stick comes in handy the most when I'm cleaning off tomato sauces, oatmeal, and sticky chocolate sauces.
I'm a die-hard Le Creuset fan when it comes to slow-cooking and braising; but the HexClad Dutch Oven pleasantly surprised me. I tested the smaller 5-quart version, but even this 6.5-quart is more affordable and lighter than an equivalent Le Creuset. It will stand you in good stead for the colder months ahead. Currently not discounted on HexClad but you can save on Amazon!
This is a dream set. With $300 off, you get a collection of best-selling frying pans, saucepans, griddles, and Dutch ovens for every kind of kitchen task or recipe you could imagine. Lids are included for all-important simmering, too.
Is shopping the HexClad sale worth it?

If you cook every day and take proper care of your tools, I think shopping for pieces in the HexClad sale is a good idea. Here are the pros and cons of the brand in my opinion:
Pros of HexClad cookware:
- Lifetime warranty: The brand backs its pans, pots and cutlery with a lifetime warranty against defects, so even if you're paying less in a HexClad sale, you're investing in a product designed to last.
- Durable & easy to clean: In my HexClad review, I found the pans to be robust. They're oven-safe up to 500°F and safe to use with metal utensils – a rare combination in cookware.
- Comfortable handles: Designed with ergonomics in mind, the handles make cooking a comfortable experience. I especially like the knife handles.
- Great non-stick performance: If you cook on a low-to-medium temperature (avoiding high heat) you'll get golden ingredients with no sticking or burnt bits.
Cons of HexClad cookware:
- Expensive: Even in the sales, the price tags can be high for this globally acclaimed brand. I have a feeling that celebrity endorsements push the price higher.
- The pans require seasoning: You need to look after the cookware properly to make them last – which includes seasoning the pan (rubbing it with oil) regularly to preserve the non-stick qualities. The same goes for the knives; they need to be treated and maintained very carefully. But in my opinion, that's a small price to pay for kit that lasts the years.
- Pans can be heavy: If you have weak wrists, you might prefer a lighter frying pan from competitors like Caraway.
How long do HexClad pans last?
HexClad cookware is built to last a lifetime, a claim supported by its lifetime warranty for defects. However, the longevity will depend on your proper use and care. The warranty doesn’t cover damage from improper cleaning or misuse, so it’s important to read the instructions carefully before you start cooking. Here are my tips to get the most out of your HexClad sale purchase
- Avoid using high heat on the pots and pans; low to medium-high is sufficient for most cooking tasks.
- Steer clear of harsh detergents or abrasive sponges when cleaning both pans and knives, since this can damage the materials.
- Season your pans with a thin layer of oil occasionally, especially during the first few weeks of use.
Is HexClad non-toxic?
Yes. HexClad say, 'Our cookware features our proprietary TerraBond™ ceramic nonstick which is PFAS-free, ensuring a better cooking experience. We tested our pots and pans for PFAS compounds and all results were below the laboratory's detection limits, known as 'Non-Detect'. That puts the brand in the best non-toxic cookware category.
When is the next HexClad sale?
HexClad's rival Prime Day sale is in full swing, with up to 45% off select items. They haven't said when this July sale will end, but I'm hoping it might stick around for the weekend.
We'll be keeping this page updated with all the latest HexClad.
