An exhibition about siblings with genetic conditions has opened at the Oxo gallery on the South Bank.
Photographer Paul Wenham-Clarke’s collection shows brothers and sisters who are “separate and yet deeply intertwined” — and explores how society interacts with people with the conditions.
Precious Akindele, 10, who is pictured in the exhibition with her sister Favour, nine, has albinism.
She said: “Sometimes people say we can’t be sisters because we don’t look the same… Mum tells people that not all families match.”
Our Human Condition runs until Sunday January 19, oxotower.co.uk
