Our House fans slam major geography blunder in Martin Compston's ITV drama

Viewers of Our House have been quick to point out a major geography blunder in the latest episode of the thrilling ITV drama.

The four part series which hit screens nightly from Monday follows the story of estranged couple Fi and Bram Lawson, who still own their family home together to provide stability for their children.

But when Fi - played by Downton Abbey actress Tuppence Middleton - arrives home to find strangers have taken over her home events spiral beyond her control, as she can’t reach estranged husband, Bram (Martin Compston) or her two missing children.

Believing her ex is behind the nightmare ordeal she finds herself searching for answers and during an exchange with the solicitor behind the house sale - she learns the cash has already been transferred.

And as Fi's life is crashing around her - fans spotted a major geography blunder on Bram's passport.

The camera captured the shot of the passport in the lawyer's office - which stated he was born in Greenock, ENGLAND.

One fumed: "Greenock, England aye? Blooper."

A second wrote: "Brilliant drama. Just please tell whoever mocked up Bram's passport that Greenock isn't in England."

And a third questioned: "Since when was Greenock in England?"

Others even messaged Compston over the geography gaffe involving his Scottish Inverclyde hometown.

One said: "Martin Compston since when was Greenock in England? According to your passport in Our House."

Meanwhile another wrote: "Martin Compston your passport on Our House says Greenock, England."

The drama, based on the international best-selling novel by Louise Candlish, also shows flash back scenes to uncover infidelity at the heart of Fi and Bram's marriage breakdown.

But as banned driver Bram flees the scene of a car crash it sparks a chain of events to blow his life and families world apart.

The Mirror has contacted ITV for comment.

Our House concludes tonight at 9pm on ITV
