Our Girl fans were a little confused on Tuesday night as one new character for series four made their debut.
Dr Antonio, an American doctor, appeared for the first time in the series as a hospital and its surroundings became the target of a double bombing.
He and Georgie Lane, played by actress Michelle Keegan, battled to save the injured with many dying in the blast.
But as the doctor first came on screen and called out, viewers were a little confused.
The American doctor shouted out for the victims to be brought inside quickly so that they could be treated immediately.
Many fans watching at home immediately called out the accent, not sure what it was meant to be.
While the actor is British, his role has required him to put on an American voice - but clearly not everyone was convinced by it.
One fan said: "Worst American accent ever!!!"
Another tweeted: "What an annoying b*****d with a s****y accent!"
Meanwhile a third added: "What kind of accent is that?"
Viewers may recognise the actor who plays him, Josh Bowman, from the hit American series Revenge.
Josh also put an American accent on for this role, and didn't appear to get any complaints.
Some weren't that bothered by the voice either, more surprised to see him on the BBC drama.
One fan said: "ooo Josh Bowman is in #OurGirl! Okay now I’m happy!"
Another tweeted: "Well hello, Josh Bowman ."
