Our Amazing Planet: The World in Infographics by Jon Richards and Ed Simkins - review

Jon Richards, Ed Simkins, Our Amazing Planet: The World in Infographics

I thoroughly enjoyed this book with its infographics about things ranging from space to the human body. I liked its colourful pictures presented in many different ways such as pictograms, diagrams and picture comparisons. The way it always produced quality useful information was fantastic. For me the most interesting section was the human body section because it had lots of quirky facts that I didn't know.

The pictures themselves were clear, noticeable and helpful. What I think puts this book above other non-fiction planet books is that it is presented in pictures which makes it more engaging and entertaining. Also unlike some books I have read, it has information that you actually want to know, things that are intriguing not boring and useless.

If you want a book that's filled with interesting information presented in a entertaining way then you need Our Amazing Planet! I recommend this book for 9+ because some of the words and diagrams are quite complicated.
