Otto Wallin calls for Tyson Fury rematch after Dereck Chisora comeback message

Swedish boxer Otto Wallin has demanded a rematch against Tyson Fury and insists he should be the one to fight the Gypsy King rather than Dereck Chisora. Fury has confirmed that he would like to make his boxing comeback and has named his next potential opponent as Chisora.

The pair previously fought in 2011 and 2014 with Fury winning both fights. Fury has stated on numerous occasions that he'd like to fight Chisora to complete their trilogy. However, the timing may be seen as strange, with Chisora coming towards the end of his career after three losses in his last four fights

Wallin, meanwhile, gave Fury one of the toughest fights of his career in their surprising 2019 bout. Fury suffered a serious cut above his left eye in the third round which could have even stopped the fight - in what would have been a shocking result - with Wallin a 10-1 underdog. However, Fury was able to continue and went on to win the fight on points.

Fury had recently reiterated that he does believe he is retired, he has also stated that he would reverse his decision to retire and stated that he will return to the ring if the right opportunity comes up. And he has not yet surrendered his belts and is still officially heavyweight champion.

After seeing Fury's comments about wanting to fight Chisora, Wallin has responded and asked that he be given the rematch that he feels he deserves.

Wallin told Lord Ping that he deserves a rematch with Fury. He said: "I deserved it with my performance in the first fight. I landed more punches on Fury than anybody has in his whole career.

"I cut him badly in two places and the fight could have easily been stopped. In fact, if I had those cuts the fight would for sure have been stopped. When I fought Fury I had never been on that level before and I had only fought one round in 18 months prior to that fight. Now I’ve gained experience in fighting Fury and winning four other fights after that."

Wallin added that he feels Chisora would be an easy fight for Fury, and that he would be a much more competitive opponent.

He said: "I’m a better fighter now than what I was in 2019. It’s simply not a competitive fight [between Fury and Chisora]. Fury has already beaten Chisora twice and once stopped him. You can’t compare my fight with Fury with Chisoras two fights."
