Otto Graham statue unveiled as part of NFL100 celebration

The NFL’s all-time leader in quarterback win percentage finally has a statue in his honor in Cleveland. As part of the NFL100 celebration and opening weekend kickoff, the Browns unveiled the statue of Otto Graham in front of FirstEnergy Stadium on Saturday.

Graham played for the Browns from 1946-1955, bridging the transition from the AAFC to the NFL. During his NFL tenure from 1950-1955, Graham led the Browns to a 57-13-1 record and a berth in the NFL Championship game every year, winning three times.

Honoring Graham has been in the works for some time. His wife, Beverly, was among several family members present for the unveiling.

“This is very exciting for me and for my family – 39 members of my family who have come with me today,” Beverly Graham said via the Browns. “It is exciting to look around right now and see all the Cleveland fans that have come to see it, too. I am just so happy about it and that Otto is remembered.”
