Otley Run pub giving away £3,000 Mexico holidays - if you're not camera shy

Otley Run in Headingley is packed with dressed up punters every weekend and now pub goers could win a free holiday to Mexico.

Woodies, in Otley Road, is one of over 20 Greene King pubs hosting a Day of the Dead themed competition. Woodies, is offering those visiting over the next week the chance to swap rainy weekends in Leeds and jet off into the sunset.

Prizes include £3,000 Virgin Atlantic gift card for that trip of a lifetime to Mexico, a bottle of Patrón Tequila and a home bartender kit, plus a standalone bottle of Patrón Tequila. Those wanting to enter just need to take a selfie with their drinks to be in with a chance of winning.

All you need to do is take a photo of the pub's day of the dead cocktails to be in with the chance of winning an unforgettable holiday experience worth £3000. Make sure to tag the pub’s social handles and upload the photo to Facebook or Instagram.

The pub says: "Visit our pub between Thursday October 27 and Wednesday November 2 and upload picture of yourself enjoying one of our new Day of the Dead Cocktails on Facebook or Instagram and tag our pub handle in the picture and we will share it. Promotion closes at 11.59pm on Wednesday 2^nd November 2022. "

Then, Greene King will be choosing a winner to send to the home of the original Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico. Speaking about the event, a spokesperson for Green King said: "A time for a celebration of lives that were lived, that death is not to be feared but merely just another passage of life.

"It is celebrated through offerings of food and drink and rich storytelling. To bring the stories to life we are introducing three exclusive cocktails that have all been crafted with Patrón Tequila."
