Oti Mabuse says the next season of Strictly Come Dancing will be her last

Oti Mabuse has revealed that the next series of Strictly Come Dancing will be her last one.

The professional dancer, who joined Strictly in 2015, has won the last two seasons of the BBC show, making her the only pro to win it in consecutive years.

In 2019, she lifted the glitterball trophy with Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher, before winning it again last year with comedian Bill Bailey, but it looks like 2021 could be her last series of Strictly.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Oti revealed: "I love to dance and love bringing joy to so many people, but I think (this year’s Strictly) will be the last."

She also told that "honestly, as a woman I can't be dancing forever".

Oti added: "To be part of a show which is so diverse is incredible. It always pushes to open new doors.

"You almost forget this year we had JJ (Chalmers, Invictus Games champion) and Will (Bayley, Paralympic athlete) the year before, it's become a normal thing.

"I'm sure they will have a male same-sex couple this year."

Professional dancers Anton Du Beke, Janette Manrara and Karen Hauer will also return to Strictly in the autumn, as will Neil Jones, Amy Dowden, and Giovanni Pernice.

The Mirror previously revealed that Oti is determined to win Strictly for the third year in a row.

A source said: "She was always going to sign up... it's the biggest show on telly.

"She also has her heart set on the treble!"
